Rudra walked into the palace, exhausted from a long day at the office. His mother, the queen, greeted him warmly. "Rudra, beta, freshen up and come down for dinner. We have a family gathering tonight." Rudra nodded, heading to his room to change. He joined his family in the dining hall, where they were already seated and waiting for him. As they ate, the conversation turned to Rudra's marriage. His mother, the queen, brought it up casually. "Rudra, we've been thinking... it's time you got married. We've seen a lovely girl from the Sharma family, Riya. She's perfect for you."
Rudra's eyes widened in surprise. "Marriage? Mother, I'm not ready. And who is this Riya?" His mother smiled. "You'll see, beta. She's a wonderful girl. And it's time you settled down." Rudra hesitated, but his mother's words struck a chord. He had been thinking of marrying Aanya off to someone else, but now... "Fine, Mother. I'll meet Riya, but no promises."
